MalliMo

MalliMo is an independent artist, vocalist, songwriter, and drummer whose musical journey is rooted in soul, rhythm, and a passion for creating music that connects with people. Blending elements of Indie Pop, R&B, and Soul, his sound brings together smooth melodies, heartfelt storytelling, and a late-night atmosphere that feels both personal and timeless.

Music has been a part of MalliMo’s life since childhood. Beginning his journey behind the drums in church at just eight years old, he developed a deep appreciation for rhythm, musicianship, and the power of music to bring people together. By 17, he was playing professionally, and at 22, he toured with The Midnight Hour, the jazz group led by Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge. His musical journey has also included opportunities to perform music associated with artists such as Marcos Valle, Brian Jackson, and Doug Carn.

Those experiences helped shape MalliMo’s approach to music—not just as a performer, but as an artist committed to developing his own sound and identity.

Today, MalliMo continues to build his catalog as an independent recording artist, bringing together his background as a musician with his passion for songwriting and soulful expression. His music captures the feeling of late-night conversations, personal growth, love, reflection, and the moments that stay with us long after they pass.

Beyond recording, MalliMo is expanding his creative vision through live performances, collaborations, music education, and new ways to connect with his audience.

His mission is simple: create music that makes people feel something real while staying true to who he is.
