The Story Behind MalliMo

Different on Purpose.

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing drums in church at just 8 years old, turned professional at 17, and eventually took my talents on the road, performing and touring with incredible musicians.

As an artist, drummer, and songwriter, I bring together Indie Pop, R&B, and Soul to create a sound that feels authentic, soulful, and personal. From performing with The Midnight Hour alongside Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge to sharing stages with legendary musicians, every experience has helped shape the artist I am today.

But for me, music has always been about more than just the sound. It’s about the feeling, the stories, and the connections we make through it. Whether I’m behind the drums, creating new music, or connecting with fans, my goal is to make people feel something real.

I’m MalliMo — and this is only the beginning.

Different on Purpose. Always.
